Security Analyst & Network Engineer
Anitian Enterprise Security (www.anitian.com),
one of the nation’s leading information security and network infrastructure
firms has an immediate opening for a Security Analyst & Network Engineer. This
is an outstanding position for an ambitious and self-motivated technology person
who wants a challenging and rewarding career in information security.
You will work with both public and private
companies to design, deploy and manage complex network and security
technologies. We are specifically interested in any candidate with Juniper,
Fortinet and RSA experience.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- This is a "hands on" technical position, the
ideal candidate must have acumen for learning and mastering information security
technologies such as firewalls, intrusion prevention, log management,
encryption, authentication and other security solutions.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot and manage network and security technologies
- Work with customers to identify, remediate and test solutions.
- Manage routers, switches, firewalls and other components of enterprise
networks.
- General internal IT functions (system & network administration).
- Document and design security solutions in a clear and concise manner.
- Analyze data and evaluate risk.
- Write security policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Determine appropriate incident response measures for security events.
- Write security policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Conduct security vulnerability scans and evaluate the results.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of five years experience with system or
network administration, two of which must have been in an information security
role.
- CISSP certification is required to be considered for this position.
- Technical certifications for Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet, RSA, IBM-ISS, McAfee
and more are very desirable.
- Solid understanding of security regulations and standards such as PCI DSS,
NERC-CIP, HIPAA and more.
- Proven understanding of enterprise networking, routing and network and
application layer protocols.
- Solid experience in systems administration of Windows and/or Linux systems.
- Ambitious and self-motivated to succeed.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex business technology problems with
expertise and ingenuity.
- Willingness to work on many different projects across many different
industries.
- Must be willing to travel to training and customer sites on a regular basis.
- Professional, "can do" attitude.
- Able to work effectively with a broad range of personalities and people.
- Business-friendly, collaborative and diplomatic.
- College degree is preferred.
- Effective time and resource management skills.
CONSIDERATIONS
- Must work on-site at Anitian offices and client
sites. Anitian does not offer flex time.
- Relocation reimbursements are not available.
- Ability to travel for up to 5 days per month.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds or greater.
