Account Representative - Sales

Anitian Enterprise Security, one of the nation's oldest and most respect information security firms has an immediate opening for an Account Representative.  As an Anitian Account Representative, you will be expected to sell the main products areas that Anitian offers; security products, professional services and managed security. This position pays extremely well for success.  A six-figure income is possible - if you have what it takes to succeed.

It is the Account Representative's responsibility to find, qualify and develop new accounts. The most successful Account Representatives understand all our offerings and offer fact-based IT solutions to each client. Success also requires developing value-enhancing business relationships with our manufacturing partners and their local and regional representatives.

Successful Account Representative should also have a solid understanding of technology including a variety of hardware and software platforms. The ability to capitalize on an existing book of business is a real plus.  We have found that Account Representatives who succeed at Anitian over time have an affinity for entrepreneurship. Our framework allows you the best combination of exceptional internal expertise combined with an entrepreneurial spirit and compensation structure.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in technology sales
  • Proven success at cold calling into accounts
  • Understanding of computer systems and networks
  • Aggressive, high-energy approach to doing business, self starter
  • Money motivated, confident
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Solid understanding of solution-oriented selling
  • Ability to orchestrate resources in a team selling environment
  • Willingness to devote personal time to customers and vendor partners to develop relationships
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills to assist you at the executive level
  • Business acumen to understand the whole picture while executing at the detail level
  • Effective listening skills
  • Relationship selling experience
  • Bachelor degree is preferred
  • Pacific Northwest territory experience is a must

Considerations

  • This is a full-time position with base salary + commissions + bonuses (total compensation can be $100K or more)
  • Benefit package includes medical, dental, retirement, etc.
